The canvas camper top is brand new, just a few adjustments needed as you can see in this shot.
This is what Eddie looked like when we brought him home from San Diego.
Restoration is in progress and will include: body work, new paint, (the original color 'Mexican Beige') new cushions and Hawaiian bark cloth curtains, powder coated bumpers and wheel rims (white).
This bus was owned by a women for most of it's life. It was donated to a Catholic charity and then auctioned off. We bought it off of eBay from a guy down in San Diego. It was one hot property and we initially lost the bid to a fellow in Quebec, Canada.
This bus is in fine shape... we had to buy a new table top as it was missing. All the camping equipment is operational. Carpets are in great shape.
She is in fine shape!
This is what Rell looked like around the time we started her transition. Now, 5 years later we have a new bamboo laminate interior ready to install... just need some down time :)
Cushions and seats are being upholstered at Juan's shop, December 2004.
Bill gutted the inside in November 2004.
